Two forks and a hot breast of chicken is a job that takes longer than it should and leaves the meat in ragged strings. The shredder is a bowl with teeth in the lid and the base: you put the meat in, twist, and it comes out in even strands.

How the line differs, model by model
The body is the same in every colour. Black and grey hide turmeric and tomato, which stain white plastic in a way no amount of scrubbing undoes. White and pink look better on an open shelf and will pick up colour over a year of curry.
The base is non-slip, which matters more than it sounds: the twist puts real force through the bowl, and a bowl that walks is a bowl that tips.
It shreds cooked chicken, pork and beef. It is not a food processor and will not mince raw meat, and we would rather say so than let you find out.

How hot can the meat be?
The plastic is heat resistant by the maker's description, and chicken straight from a pan is the normal use. We do not publish a temperature because the maker does not state one.
Does it go in the dishwasher?
The bottom of the shredder can be cleaned in the dishwasher. The brush in the box exists for the teeth, which hold shreds that water alone will not lift.
Can it shred raw meat?
No. It works on cooked meat, and asking it to do more will end in a cracked tooth rather than mince.
Is one bowl enough for a family meal?
Two breasts at a time is comfortable. A whole rotisserie chicken goes through it in three passes.
